Cloning an Assistant - Failed to create assistant: UserError: Failed to index file: 'error_map'

Scenario:

In https://platform.openai.com/assistants I have an assistant.

  • Clicking on the three dots to open context menu with the ability to clone
  • Select clone
  • Window stays the same without the assistant Id underneath the assistant title
  • clicking save, loading spinner active
  • after 5-10 seconds error message in red on top of the window:
    UserError: Failed to index file: ‘error_map’ (see screnshot )

I have the same error code. Yesterday I was uploading files to my assitant, I was not able to do ir because the platform returns this error code. IDK why it is happening, but I will try to upload it again today.

Eventually I was able to upload again after a while. See it as volunteering bug tracking for OpenAI.

Yeah, also me, but it’s very strange, some days you can, and anothers not. Anyways, it’s a beta, so everything could happen, may the final product don’t have that issues :pray:
