I’m trying to get ChatGPT to talk to me about a certain URL but it keeps telling me it is unable to access the page (wikipedia in this case) due to technical limitations/restrictions.
I’ve also tried sending it to OpenAI’s announcement page for the GPT store in order to discuss the GPT store but it gives me the same sort of error message.
I haven’t been able to get this to work for a few days now and decided it’s time to open a thread. Thanks for reading.

Same issue. I am also having it return incorrect information… from a different website.
ChatGPT-4omni will save your day (also the ChatGPT-4-proper) as the memory was released all my problem where solved and then I am able to brow my stuff with no link and not even anything I gave a local path on my file system and the 4omni read the file (as he deduced how to find in my repo with ZERO Information other than the memory which did not contain any information about what to do…
lets see if you can do something that would be impossible for an other AI Agent I am going beyond my expectations I think it might be hard but this a a ZERO SHOT → /projects/local-path-to the-repo/prompts/meta/_$_meta-request.txt
on my computer a file then he read it (via git hub) with no information given only indirect knowledge… this was a wild deduction from the same dude who was refusing to browse without a fight (well the rebirth omini (it sound like Gemini but more powerful) lets se what the competition has to offer they will not be able to seduce me I have my Claude 3 Haiku and my ChatGPT-4omni (and soon the super powers will be delivered)
Hi all…Im hitting the same wall. It has to do with web scraping policies and the robots.txt file on the sites you try to access…Looks like GPT has been disallowed browsing, unless through an API.
