ChatGPT Projects need searchable navigation / quick switching for long-running technical workflows.

I am posting this here because I do not see another serious channel for substantive ChatGPT product feedback. The Help Center route has not been useful for this kind of issue. If there is a better channel where this feedback is more likely to reach the relevant product team, please let me know.

Product feedback: ChatGPT Projects need searchable navigation by project name and ideally by project topic/content, especially on mobile.

This is relevant not only as a general app usability issue, but also for technical and developer workflows. Many users organize ongoing work in Projects: coding tasks, API work, documentation, research notes, teaching material, product experiments, manuscript drafts, debugging sessions, and recurring technical conversations. These are not one-off chats; they are long-running workspaces.

Once a user has many projects, not being able to search or quickly jump to a project becomes a major workflow bottleneck. It makes Projects less reliable as an organizational layer, especially for users who rely on ChatGPT across many simultaneous workstreams.

Please add project search / project quick switcher across iOS, web, and desktop. At minimum, users should be able to find projects directly by name. Ideally, search should also surface projects by relevant project content, topic, or associated chats/files.

Thanks for sharing this feedback.

I understand how project search and quick navigation could become increasingly important for users managing multiple long-running Projects and workflows.

At this time, ChatGPT does not provide a dedicated Project search feature as you've described. I appreciate you taking the time to share this suggestion, I'll pass the feedback along to the team for consideration.
