I am a getting a GetDownloadLinkError which is preventing ChatGPT from returning a file after generating one for me. Details below from ChatGPT itself :slight_smile:

  • The repeated “GetDownloadLinkError.”
  • The tasks you were trying to accomplish (e.g., generating PDFs or CSVs for mailing labels).

I had a naive way to fix this basically change the prompt to let the model clearly provide the file link. It works in the condition like this:

  1. you are using GPT model to train your own data and you know your file url/path.
  2. each file link are similar or well established.

Then you can do some prompt like " If the response body contains a link in the format http://xxxx/xxxx/xxxxx.pdf, convert it to the correct file link format:
https://aaaa/aaaaa/aaaaaaa/[your id][your suffix].pdf, where [suffix] can be:“xxxxx”
