I’m unable to find a proper document of OpenAI stating the rate limit for GPT4o on free accounts on the browser (not the API). Could anyone help me with what the rate limit is for free accounts?

The FAQ would be the place to look

and I did not see a specific numeric value.
As the values may change at times automatically based on conditions, the FAQ would be of no value with such as they might be accurate one hour then less the next hour. So while that is not what you seek I have to agree with OpenAI that notifying you when you hit the limit is better than posting in the FAQ. However I do think it would be nice to at least hover over a model to see what your remaining limit is.
