I’m not sure if it’s just me, but now in the latest hours when I ask something to ChatGPT, its response will be writing well until it reaches a point where the “network error” message begins displaying as the message still generates until it stops. It gives me the option to regenerate the response, but when it does, the same thing happens: the message is generated until it reaches a point where a network error supposedly happened and then keeps writing the message until it stops. I tried disconneting the network and connecting it again, as well as reloading the page and even deleting cookies but it didn’t work either! What’s going on now?
Investigating, looks like it only happens with old conversations that are still active now and are too long now too. So, will anyone else fix this? Some users like to continue old conversations, no matter if they’re long or not, like me
Why is no one answering to this? It’s a serious bug I don’t understand!
Well, it’s been like two or three days by now since I’ve been dealing with this, and no one is answering yet, which makes me wonder if this is actually an intentional bug or not. I assume this is also an intentional reference to these kill screens featured in early 1980s video games, but who really knows. Now I tried to solve this by sending an answer in the mobile app but yet this bug persists. And not only all I mentioned earlier, but it also happens that if I send it a message on the app and it finishes writing it, it will then display a network error and then it’s a bad sign. I closed the app and reopened it again and guess what? The bot’s message is gone! So, why doesn’t the staff takes its time to solve this bug or are they just too lazy to solve this? I hope it’s not an intentional bug and they fix it soon!
