I’m going to promote my ChatGPT app by placing the link to this app connect page onto different resources.
Is there any way to pass utm_source or other labels to analyze the traffic to the app page?
I tried to add “?utm_source=site” to my app link (i.e. chatgpt.com/apps/…?utm_source=app), but no parameters were passed to backend in “initialize” or other MCP methods.
It would be great to have such an option for effective promotion of ChatGPT apps. Please share your experience in this question.
