Hello,

When accessing ChatGPT, I am asked to complete an age verification. By clicking on the indicated link, I access OpenAI and am then redirected to Yoti page for age verification.

I tried using the facial recognition option. The system scans my face, processes the image, the page closes, and then it returns to the page where I need to choose the age verification method again.

I also tried the option that involves uploading an ID card. I upload the two images, the facial recognition starts, the system captures the image, but then I end up back at the starting point.

I never receive confirmation that the verification was successful, and ChatGPT asks me to complete it every day.

I’m experiencing the same issue.
The only element I can add is that I never accept the cookies.
Can it be the reason?

No, I think it doesn’t depend on cookies.
I’ve tried several times using different browsers but still having the validation problem.
I’ve tried using smartphone browser and also using two different laptops.
I have doubt about login… I’m using Google account.

Same issue,
-tried pc desktop and smartphone, on firefox, chrome and brave; cleaned cache and cookies
-tried all the available methods
-tried to connect abroad with a VPN (it doesn’t let me verify in this case, doesn’t even redicrect me to yoti)

Nothing worked.

I’m kinda sure that the most of us (if not all) are italian. Also on reddit only italians seem to have this problem

Yes, I’m Italian. Does anyone know if there is a way to report this problem from Italy? Maybe if there’s a way to report it all together, someone will fix it

Italy, same issue here, using face recognition or credit card options.

I made several attempts on Windows and MacOS using Firefox, Chrome, Edge and Safari, all privacy extensions disabled, accepting all cookies and tracking stuff, no VPN… any ideas?

Hi everybody
I’ve just tried again the age validation using Google Chrome and face recognition. It has worked and validation process has been completed.

The verification eventually worked for me today! i didn’t do anything different, so the issue it’s probably been fixed.
