Yes, unfortunately, that’s correct. I can confirm it only works with Apple Silicon.

i am a plus user but do not see a download option yet. maybe it is slowly rolling out to plus users? 
I got so excited installing this to only see the same message as everyone else…
Mine says not supported as well. I think it’s just for M series 
It doesn’t work on my Intel based Macbook Pro 2019, says unsupported as well.

I got access to the chatgpt mac app for Apple Silicon. But I don’t think there’s that fast live reply feature as seen in the demo videos. It’s basically the mobile app but on mac with the gpt 4o model.

Yes but the voice capabilities are similar to the mobile app. It’s not real time.

I am also a plus user and am running on an M3 Pro but no link so far… it was an exciting presentation so Im feeling impatient.
I also got the download link through ChatGPT and was able to install the program, but am unable to login. 
Just got an update saying I got access to GPT 4o but no email or messages were sent to me about the downloading link. Waiting…
I asked the GPT-4o. It seems it’s still GPT-4 now. Will wait more time. Impatient…

Hi ya all - longtime listener first time poster!.. I’m a Teams member (with my wife - huge team of 2! 
I love OAi/Sam/Greg/Mira and Illya (but where is he) and the rest of them.
Anyway I’m finding myself getting a little pissed that Plus/Teams members are not getting first access to new features … is this feeling i’m having wrong? Am I alone on this MAny Thanks

Seems like we Plus members are getting first access. There’s a lot of impatience in the community right now – which doesn’t help anyone.
It looks like the App is legit! With some redacted steps , I was able to bypass the login, and it works great:
I will wait until it’s officially enabled for me, but the app works

It’s working for me on Apple Silicon M3 - It is literally just the phone app, but on a desktop - it doesn’t have the screen view ability. It can’t speak in different tones (i.e., whispers, dramatically, etc.). Don’t know why that was shown if that wasn’t going to be the case out of the box for the users.
