Charged for free preview of GPT-4.5

In Data Controls > Sharing > Share Logs with OpenAI, I Enabled for all projects and I am eligible for “free daily usage 250’000 tokens per day across GPT-4.5-preview …”

I used 294’000 and got charged $4.12!
Does the free tier works? Or does 34’000 tokens are worth $4.12?

Thanks. Since GPT-4.5 didn’t perform better and there’s no cap, I opt-out.
