The OpenAI Developer Community has crossed 1 million members!
That number represents builders showing up for one another, solving real problems, sharing what they have learned, reporting what breaks, welcoming newcomers, and making the forum more useful every day.
To mark the milestone, we are introducing the Community Leaderboard.
The leaderboard recognizes members who strengthen the forum through steady, useful participation. It highlights people who help others, improve discussions, share practical insight, and make this community a better place to build.
Thank you to everyone who has asked a question, answered one, shared a project, reported an issue, welcomed someone new, or helped make this space stronger.
We are also keeping the celebration going with a community design challenge. More on that soon. For now, thank you for being part of this community.
And while we celebrate this milestone, we also want to hear from you.
What do you want from the community next? What would make the forum more useful, more welcoming, or more valuable to builders? What should we improve, change, or rethink?
Share your feedback, wishes, and criticism below. A milestone like this is a good moment to celebrate what the community has become, but it is also the right moment to ask what it should become next. Here’s to the next million.
