I wonder if it would be beneficial to be able to call a plugin within a conversation, similar to how I can invoke GPT using the ‘@’ sign. Do you know if this feature is on the development agenda of the ChatGPT team at OpenAI?"
Plugins are like API functions - they are always there, and just called upon when their feature would be useful for user fulfillment in the course of conversation.
They are on their way out. No new ones can be created and published.
