Can ChatGPT plugins be used when calling the OpenAI API? I have a plugin that allows querying personal information, and I have an Alexa skill that allows me to call the OpenAI API, and now I’d like to put all the pieces together.
No, ChatGPT plugins are not available via the API, only via ChatGPT’s UI right now.

Is there any possibility that it will be made available in the near future ? I think it would be of much more interest to integrate the use of PlugIns in an external application than only from inside ChatGPT’s UI. Fo r example I would like to use ChatGPT as an advanced Chat Bot in our Web Site using our custom PlugIn, but if I cannot activate our PlugIn from our Web Site that looks impossible.

It is possible, but from other conversations and posts, it is not a priority, so maybe next year?
