Behavior of the "copy" feature on the MacOS app seems to have been changed. It is no longer including the markdown when copying

Previously, on the MacOS ChatGPT app, if I were to ask ChatGPT for a spelling or grammar check which included markdown like this…

…and then clicked on the far-left “copy” icon below the generated text, it would copy ChatGPT’s output along with the markdown, so the result would look like this:

Here’s the corrected version:

“I really like [this website](https://example.com).”

However, it seems that perhaps there’s been some kind of update, because if I copy the text now, it doesn’t include the markdown:

Here’s the corrected version:

“I really like this website.”

Is there anywhere I can go to complain about this change? Or maybe request that it become a toggle-able option? I know markdown isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I found it to be a very useful feature.

I know that I can ask ChatGPT to put its corrections in a code block, which helps, but it can’t handle code blocks nested inside code blocks, it ends up like this:

The web app still seems to work as it did before though.

Edit: This was originally intended to be part of my initial post, but I am not allowed to include two media elements within the same post due to being a new user, and I cannot otherwise link to the images.

I have the same problem. So I use chatgpt on web instead of macos app.
