I’m having the same problem. I’ve also tried to access from signing in with email and password, and with google 0auth. I still receive a 502
I’m facing the same problem in Brazil.

Same. Constant since yesterday morning. I’m also about to create multi-accounts…

I’m actually located in Phoenix AZ. I tried logging in using the regular way bypassing Google Auth but because I signed up that way, chatgpt gives me an error that I can’t do this and log on using Google Auth.
Anyone know how to bypass Google Auth and sign in using an account on chatgpt?
Thanks.

@logankilpatrick mate this has NOT been resolved. Like the thousands of other people here still having this issue, clearing cookies does nothing. The root cause is steming from the account itself, as when you login on differenet networks, devices, browsers etc - it is always the same error. Please bump OpenAI as this is only effecting paid subscribers and has been down for more than two days.
I am figuring you guys have your hands full. But there’s no ability to open a support ticket through help.openai.com
I started a chat via the intercom chat popup but says usually a day for a response…
This is not a solution that works.
Please escalate this to whoever it needs to go to. Day 2 of this error and there has not being an official acknowledgement from OpenAI. Status page says everything is fine, it’s not fine. Many paid users cannot access the service they are paying for due to this issue.
Same issues here bad gateway constant issue can’t solve with browser change, clearing cache etc. Need access will probably have to setup another account
Hi sg0.
Answering your question:
Because the status is indeed operational. It’s the delegated auth what is causing problems in first place.
You can test it by registering with a new account and not using google auth. You will notice that the account works.
I have been having the same “bad gateway” issue that many others are having, and I need some help getting it resolved.
I have passed this along to the team, they are actively looking into it. Stay tuned and sorry for the delay!
Is there any way to change an account to not use Google auth, but instead use an email and password login without creating a new account? For example, would going through account recovery/forgotten password rather than Google auth fix this bad gateway via login issue?
