When tokens are issued, OpenAI will refresh them up to the expiration time.

After that, users are told there is an error communicating with plugin service, and ChatGPT does not request a new token like they do with a fresh installation.

Users have to “know” to delete and then re-install.

OpenAI: please implement functionality to refresh expired OAuth2 tokens.

I am running into the same issue with my plugin. It is very frustrating that OpenAI has not provided some support on this issue. I basically halted any future development on my plugin. I am not going to invest my time and money on this plugin if I don’t have confidence that OpenAI will support me along the way.
