When I edit the instructions in the api, it doesn’t save the new instructions.
The “saving” spinner spins but after it’s done, the timestamp for the save indicates the old time.
And if I make an api call, it’s still using the old prompt.
I usually have to sit and keep retrying again and again until it actually saves. Deeply frustrating - to the point which I’ve now created an account and a post here.
Please assist.

When you put text in the system instructions text box, you have to focus out of the text box (e.g. by clicking somewhere outside the area), and then a POST request will be sent to assistant endpoint and the prompt will be saved.

Hi all, I’m having the same issue, and focusing outside of the text box doesn’t seem to help. I tried to clone the assistant so the new one would have the updated prompt, but it’s still running with 30hr old instructions. What can i do? Thank you
