App submission blocked despite approved verification

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to resubmit my ChatGPT app after a previous rejection, but the submission form is blocking me with this error:

“Individual verification is not complete. Please verify as a business before submitting.”

The confusing part is that my Organization Settings already show verification as approved. Under Verifications, I can see:

  • Individual: Approved
  • Business: Stars In Hands Gift Studio is preverified for app submission, Approved

In the app submission form, I selected Business, and the Developer field matches the verified organization name exactly: Stars In Hands Gift Studio.

There is no option on the verification page to reverify or refresh the verification status.

Has anyone else seen this issue? Is there a way to refresh the app submission verification state, or should I create a new app submission/version under the same verified organization?

@EricGT None of these have any solutions for me as I’m already verified and using same name as used in verification.

You can create a support ticket by visiting the Help Center and selecting the message icon in the bottom-right corner.

Same problem here.

Organization: Straintest

After that, be prepared to be told that the Developer’s name doesn’t match the verified account name… I’m still figuring out which one it is.

I’m seeing a very similar issue.

My Individual verification is Approved, and I previously had another ChatGPT App approved under the same organization and Individual identity. But the current submission page still blocks me with “Individual verification is not complete.”

I was seeing this error last week (May 13) as well. I was verified as an “Individual” but when trying to submit it would present an error saying that I wasn’t verified. Oddly, when I selected “Business” (which I’m not verified for) and submitted, it went through. Definitely seems to be a bug with the submission process.

It was some sort of strange bug and got fixed automatically. Today, I clicked on the submit button and it worked fine.

I’ve completed the review and my application is published! The process was very complex because I was going in blind, but I finally made it. I just recommend being patient.

So its just need patience and if some bug is there wait it will get fixed automatically soon.
