API Error: You exceeded your current quota, please check your plan and billing details

I’m receiving this error on a Chrome Extension that I use often and this is the first time I’m receiving this.

I reviewed my API Limits and Usage (screenshot) and I’m not close to my limits. I removed and deleted the old API key and using a new one. I’m still receiving this error.

Is there something I need to complete in order to resolve this?

Now do the part where you check your plan and billing details.

On the left bar where you were just looking at your usage, choose billing.

See the credit balance available to pay for services.

Take remedial action.
