Currently, I’m often running 10 tasks in parallel and often those tasks edit the same file which leads to merge conflicts. I’m often just closing the pull request and rerunning the task. If OpenAI Codex web could solve the merge conflict itself that would speed up my productivity by a good portion and reduce pointless reruns of tasks.
+1 - I’ve been having to work in serial and it’s awful! It doesn’t seem to be able to re-diff and see the conflict and resolve it when I go back to the task and ask it to. Also, having it auto-resolve and update the PR would be awesome! But I guess it’s early days still.
But I hope someone sees this soon and at least responds.

Uh.. yea that’s kind of important. How is this not a thing yet? Offering asynchronous coding without closing the loop with merge conflict resolution, lmao
