Allow me to select Flex plan on Codex

I am usually working on 2 project at the same time, where all of them have multiples sub-projects.

So, usually, I have 4 VSCode opened.

I would really like to have some “Flex” plan, so it charges/consume 50% of the tokens (like https://platform.openai.com/docs/pricing?latest-pricing=flex) but takes longer.

I really don’t care if the fix/coding takes 20 minutes. I’m usually 90% focused on 1 project, and I’m applying changes on the 2nd project as “in background”. So, if in my “in background project” the fixes takes 30min, but costs 50% less, the better!

When I say “cost”, I mean the weekly limit.

I agree that more control would be nice, but the project management of all of it is tricky, usually dangling in a balancing act between making it better and adding more useful features.

I guess its the same old story, boiling and tumbling down to the overflow act of backlogs prioritization queues, denominated by skilled labor, time available and total concentrated high quality allocated time to it all…

Who knows, maybe we’ll get it some day!

(unfortunately, without spending more money on api credits or sacrificing quality for open source models, I’m not sure there is much one can do outside of contributing to it over at: https://github.com/openai/codex)
