Users should be able to ask small clarification questions without interrupting the main conversation. Unlike a branched chat, the side chat should optionally stay synchronized with newly generated messages in the main conversation, while its own messages remain excluded from the main thread unless the user explicitly chooses “Add to main conversation.”
