Hello I am using ChatGPT for story ideas and I encountered an odd issue. I am having an issue in deleting a conversation and sometimes it keeps on deleting the messages I made recently and reverting the conversation to a specific point. I tried to delete or make new messages but the deletion failed as well as reverting the conversation to the same state as before.
I tried to log out and login as well as checking the status if it has something to do with it but neither of these resolves the issue.
I tried to archive the conversation then deleting it but suddenly I get the message ‘Delete failed’. So now the conversation is stuck on the archive.
The other conversations are alright as I can delete or add more messages to it. It is just one conversation that keeps on reverting to the same state and not deleting as I wanted.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
I believe I have a similar issue, in that I cannot even archive as well as the above you have noted any ideas folks?
I have the same issue. I cant delete or archive it. I can add to the conversation but if I close the app or browser, go to another chat then it resets with all posts after that point gone.
I even went to the first post edited it to see if that would help but it didnt.
I logged out and back in both on app and browser.
Reinstalled the app nothing.
There arent issues with any other chats.

Try logging out from all your devices:
Settings → Security → Log out all. This option is available on web apps, but you can also do it on mobile by using a web browser, not mobile ChatGPT app.
- Restart your browser.
- Log back into ChatGPT.

Additionally, you can try using a different browser and follow the same steps above.
