i’m also receiving this error with 3.5 version. I’ve tried to reload the page and the prompt sended many times and nothing happens

As much as I like ChatGPT, my subscription ends at the end of this month. I am hit with these usage caps every day.
Is there a significant difference between the $20 servicer and the free service? Especially when throttling gets worse as the day goes on. The lack of support is unacceptable.

40 message in 3 hours are ridiculous this company is a 90 billion company and doesen’t have power to perform more than 40 request in 3 h per customer…

Same here. Am a Plus customer for since GPT-4, encountered this cap today for the first time. This is very frustrating! Did not read about a cap when I signed up!

Is it a joke? I’m paying 20$ per month and I can’t even use Chat4 for 20 minutes? And I have to wait 1h30min? Sorry, but I’m disappointed a bit, I will get it if you would update finally Chat to 4.5 or 5 version, but even Chat4 is maybe not outdated, but some kind of becoming dummy… (not even touching 3.5) At least let us use Chat4 more often 
The worst part is that we can post here our thoughts and that’s it.

I am also thinking about canceling the subscription it is becoming useless with these limitation caps.
This error/limitation has really ramped up over the last few days. Frankly, it’s hobbled my use of the product. Whereas before I could depend on using ChatGPT, I scarcely can begin a conversation and get into the useful parts of it before I’m hit with this limit.
What’s worse, I think this is an important signal for everyone in this thread to pay attention to. OpenAI is struggling to serve the demand (in other words, they are scaling poorly) and I don’t think this bodes well for the future if they can’t get this resolved. I do understand there is a lot of complexity behind scaling to meet these compute-heavy demands, but the current limit is too prohibitive and makes my subscription nearly useless. Let’s hope they can put their smart heads together to get this figured out.
I believe I’ve only sent GPT4 20 messages max today. I’ve already reached the limit… Not sure what I’m paying for now…

With the lack of offical response to this thread and now getting hit with limits… what is the point of paying again? Sorry guys, but you aren’t the only game in town anymore.
what a disgrace! What did I pay for? why the restriction? I haven’t really worked yet, it immediately gives me a limitation.
I’m repeatedly hitting the limit for 25 messages or fewer and today it no longer even shows when my usage will reset, it simply says:
“New responses will use GPT-3.5 until your GPT-4 limit resets.”
So not only are there no tools to manage the available messages, there is now no indication of when the limit resets.
