Why does ChatGPT 4 get blocked but not 3.5?

Hi,

I have the impression that my account is blocked.

On ChatGPT, I keep getting:

Hmm…something seems to have gone wrong.

If I use 3.5 it works.

I checked my billing account and it is OK. If I go to the playground it’s OK.

I tried from a different browser (as suggested elsewhere) and on my Teams account. Others on the Team account have no problemm.

What do I do?

ChatGPT the subscription service is completely separate from the API, so nothing to do with the playground.

Has is been recurring or only just today? Might just be the servers are down.

Hello, I don’t understand, I’m still stuck with a ChatGPT 3.5 which dates from January 2022, how can this be possible? I disconnected my account deleted the cookies, reset everything, nothing changes (even on phone, on edge or on google chrome)

And when you click on 3.5, you don’t have the option to change to 4o?

Also, are you logged in? If you are not logged in, I believe you only have access to 3.5. When you create a (free) account, then you have limited access to 4o.

Hmmm, if you’re on Discord, look for the ChatGPT/OpenAi group, they might have an answer.

It may also depend on your region. It was a staggered roll out but maybe it hasn’t reached your region yet (en assumant que ce n’est pas la France ou le Canada).
