I tried logging in to https://platform.openai.com/api-keys, but when I clicked the “Continue” button or attempted to log in using Google or other methods, I encountered an API failure. I’ve attached a screenshot for reference. Could you please check if others are facing the same issue?
You can try a different path to authentication. Go to the main page at https://openai.com/. Log in there.
That link gives you https://platform.openai.com/login
“409 Conflict” is certainly an odd error. It looks like there are earlier failures in getting scripts in the console log also.
The official OpenAI Status site does not report any issues.
Looking at Down Detector, there is an increasing number of reports related to ChatGPT outages, but this is not an API platform issue.

I am not using OAuth authentication methods such as Google or Microsoft login, so I cannot verify the issue with those methods. However, using the standard login process with an email and password, I was able to access the API keys page without any problems.
I can’t say for sure, but it is possible that a browser extension is interfering. Perhaps you could try logging in using incognito mode to see if that helps?
i have the same problem , it’s working in mobile but in desktop not working
The solution that worked for me . I deleted the cookies for the official website openai, and then community website. Visit each site and delete its cookies.
Then, go to the homepage openai and click on the login platform for the API. Although it redirects you to the same url auth openai login page, it works fine from there.
I was having the same 409 error. I fixed the problem by disabling 1Blocker on the OpenAI URL. The logon then worked in the ChatGPT app.
