When editing an existing prompt in chatgpt, sometimes copy and pasting is broken

This is very annoying, sometimes I wish
To edit my prompts extensively
and sometimes that means copy pasting parts of the prompt back into it

For whatever reason that I need copy and paste to work, is not immediately relevant

The problem is that I’m trying to copy text in the prompt editor and my clipboard receives a blank clip.

Also, if I write text with a lot of single enters (line feed)
when I copy my own text out again,it comes out as a single block of text, a single line of text in fact, this is really annoying !

This bug has been around forever unfortunately.

The only solution is to copy the text when the editor isn’t in use, or use developer tools to select the text and copy from the console.

Does this happen because of an anti-scrapping / anti-automation feature going awry ?

Also I think there’s two distinct bugs

Non-working copy

Losing newlines when copying single line break text (and I do have many other formatting issues)
