When does this smarter memory feature get fully rolled out?

So there is an article about a feature where ChatGPT can recall past conversations for memory which is extremely helpful and I’ve heard a few already have the beta of it and 8m just wondering when it will fully release since it was announced over a month ago. Here the article: https://help.openai.com/en/articles/10303002-how-does-memory-use-past-conversations

Which model are you using? afaik the memory feature in ChatGPT has already been rolled out months ago, but it’s only rolled out for 4o models, not reasoning models.
We don’t know when (if ever) it will be released for wider models or locales.
Also note this feature would be available for ChatGPT, not the API.
If you live in a country in Europe, I’ve heard the feature may or may not be available due to GDPR laws. However, considering I don’t live in Europe, I can’t definitely say that with certainty.

I use 4 and 4o if my limit runs out and it says it has no memory of past conversations

These little (?) updates are usually not announced in advance and we get notified the day they arrive for our accounts.

I suppose all we can do is wait.

I guess we will just wait and pray

I would love access to this. For me, memory is ChatGPT’s main advantage over Claude, but the limits on it are frustrating. If it could index all my conversations, that would be huge.

Yeah it would solve all my problems
