It seems to be something else, not a fixed model. When called upon by API gpt-4o returns the real model (with timestamp), while chatgpt-4o-latest returns the same. Looking at the docs it says it is the same as chatgpt.com , and is updated frequently. https://platform.openai.com/docs/models#gpt-4o
