I know that chatgpt-4o-latest points to the latest of what chatgpt uses, but which base model is that? Another post here suggested that it is a chat optimized version of the dev gpt-4o models. But I am curious: is it gpt-4o-2024-11-20? or something else?
It seems to be something else, not a fixed model.
When called upon by API gpt-4o returns the real model (with timestamp), while chatgpt-4o-latest returns the same.
Looking at the docs it says it is the same as chatgpt.com, and is updated frequently.
