I’m experiencing what looks like a quota calculation or entitlement bug.
Timeline
- I previously had ChatGPT Pro.
- My subscription later expired and I was on the Free plan.
- I exhausted my Free Codex usage.
- Today I upgraded to ChatGPT Plus through the web using the same account.
Current status
- My account correctly shows ChatGPT Plus.
- My 5-hour Codex quota was refreshed (99% remaining).
- However, my weekly Codex quota is still 0%, with the next reset several days away.
This makes me suspect that my previous usage (possibly from my previous Pro subscription or Free usage) has been incorrectly carried over to my new Plus weekly quota instead of granting the weekly quota included with the Plus plan.
I’ve already tried:
- Logging out and back in
- Restarting the Codex app
None of these changed the weekly quota.
Has anyone else experienced this after changing plans (especially Pro → Free → Plus)?
If an OpenAI team member sees this, could you please check whether my Codex weekly quota/entitlement needs to be recalculated?
