This error will happen if you block the phone provider in uBlock Origin or similar Safe-Surfing extensions. The provider at this moment is Arkose Labs.

Since it’s not mentioned in the FAQ and trivial to remedy, it’s useful it can be found in search engines.

Solved my problem! Enable Java Script for “Arkose Labs”! Which is not visible, on the website, in the steps before!

Hey guys. The brazilian numbers also have the same problem. My TI don’t accept the Arkose Labs solution. Can i use another option?

No. You need to speak to your TI and explain that it’s necessary to allow Arkose Labs. OpenAI uses it for security and almost certainly won’t make any exceptions.
