Using ChatGPT to remind of things

So I had an idea of trying to get GPT4 to remind me to do something the next time i talked to it after a certain date and time. At first it said it couldn’t and I realized because it can’t timestamp it’s self yet. But it’s able to give me the time and date if I ask. So if in the same conversation I ask to always answer with the time and date first that I want then respond shouldn’t it be able to remind me of things. If I say remind me of something I need to do the next time I talk to you after a certain date in the future when I prompt you. I am getting it closer to it understanding what I want but I need some help. It keeps saying it can’t do it but I really think it can.

Pretty new at this but I think it could be cool if anyone wants to chat about it.

Hi there mate, if you’re using it through API, then one option is to trigger it on scheduled basis (like, once a day?) to sum up all your events / emails / anything (with custom function calling or make[dot]com or any other platform) and send you an email, notification or anything else.

Or, like you said, to remind you with every new request you’ll have (with a certain, specific format).
