Yesterday I was on the $100 plan and I did a ton of work.
I upgraded late last night, and in under 8 hours , you are telling me I used up the whole week already?
Look at what the $100 account represented for the last week vs yesterday which is supposed to be the $200 plan , .which is 20x vs the 5x of the $100 plan. How does this make sense?
I did not change processes or introduce any processing that would fundamentally change the burn rate, at all.
I subscribed to the Plus service on August 24th. During that period, the quota usage was normal. Occasionally, there was a 5-hour limit. But around September 1st, the weekly quota consumption increased significantly, yet my usage habits remained unchanged. Now, I have to wait for 5 days to reset the weekly quota.
I think its time to find a class action attorney. If you calculate how many millions of people do not have transparency and details a bout their usage rates.. and stories like this… I think there is abuse at hand. I will pass this off to someone. I encourage anyone else who has this problem to float it by large attorneys as well. /
Hey @danliebermail, I can see why this would be frustrating, especially if your workflow hasn’t changed and the usage suddenly looks very different after upgrading.
Codex usage can vary depending on the model, context, task, and tools being used. If the usage still looks off, please reach out to Support and include the approximate upgrade time, model used, relevant task/session IDs, and usage screenshots so the team can take a closer look.
