Because the nature of my work changes constantly, it’s difficult to precisely quantify usage limits in a consistent manner. Of course I don’t use Codex for benchmarking; I use it to actually carry out my work. ( I’m using a Pro subscription now. )
However, if I assume that the amount of work I typically do in a day is “1,” then repeating that workload every day used to consume only about 30–40% of the weekly limit. ( a few weeks ago ) In other words, the practical amount I could use in a week felt roughly equivalent to “20.”
But now, performing a similar amount of work depletes my entire usage in just two days. In practical terms, the usable limit no longer feels like “20” per week, but closer to “2 or 3.” This suggests that there may be an issue with the current usage-measurement logic, or that the overall usage limit has been reduced.
From a few days ago, To save usage, I have even started sending lighter parameters to the LLM when running my workflow benchmarks. Yet the consumption rate is still dramatically faster than before, which clearly indicates a noticeable change.
I hope there will be some announcement clarifying whether this is being treated as a “problem” or simply as a “change” in the system.
