Prior to say 2-3 weeks ago I loved how I had put a number of chats into a project. i could start a new chat and ask a question regarding information shared in another chat (within the project) and it seemed like there was an ongoing “memory” or “awareness” on the part of ChatGPT.
This extended to be able to start a new component of a project in a new chat allowing for organization around components of a project. One chat may have focused on a marketing plan, another chat was in relation to the same buisness/subject but was focused on social media, another chat image creation, and so forth.
I am a premium user and this was extremely helpful . It even went to where if I did a meta# tag outside of any projects in order to assess overall productivity the responses on the part of ChatGPT appeared to provide specifics from multiple projects and chats within them.
I don’t think I imagined this.
The more recent updates though even within a project ChatGPT seems to not even be able to recall or even access the information from another chat. Further the summaries from one chat to try and help the other chat get “up to date” seem to be very poor compared to just a month or so ago.
Anyone else notice this?
Is there a work around?
Any suggestions?
Will this ability for, at least within a project, a chat to access another chat?
