I am updating my instructions in the custom GPT prompt. Although clicking on “Update” button shows me that the update has taken place and redirects me to the GPT link, it also shows “Updates Pending” on the right side. I have tried finetuning my prompt multiple times but the GPT is giving default responses and not following the instructions at all from the start. It was working fine but suddenly, it started to resort to default behaviour without any major updates.
The strange thing is that when I ask the GPT to follow instructions as a response, it remembers and follows it. But it does not follow the same set of instructions from the beginning. The instructions are written to follow guidelines to produce the responses in a certain way without the need of a user to remind it of those instructions.
The update does not seem to work because even after any updates in the instruction, the responses in the preview as well as the bot remains the same.
