Custom GPTS Not Updating, or maybe they are?

When I click “update” on my custom GPT, it continues to show “updates pending” even though a pop up says that the GPT was updated. If I updated it 4:25 the version history shows that.

So… is it updated or not?

The GPT is live and only available to people with a link.

I’ve cleared my cache.
I use chrome.

I’m seeing the same. Based on the responses I’ve been getting, the changes I’ve made to the instructions don’t seem be updating.

Have you resolved this - I coming across the same issue - my GPT is frozen in Pending Updates, with the new data, and new information is not reflecting in responses.

Did your GPT update according to it’s responses with the new data you provided?

I’ve noticed this getting worse over the last few months. I’m beginning to suspect it’s some kind of cacheing or lag issue, because very clear instructions and new knowledge documents are just completely ignored but later the GPT seems to respond better.

Given how fast OpenAI is scaling, it wouldn’t be a surprise but it’s very frustrating.

I have the same issue right now, My GPT is stuck at the (Only Me) option and I cannot share it even with anyone with link. So will this issue be resolved by itself or should I do something from my side?

Frustration continues as my Custom GPT is not updating with any new information, error when saving, persistent “Updates pending” note at top. It’s almost as if I broke it several weeks ago when updating with a boat load of new data. Of course, I can’t break it, or maybe I did? I did add more than several attachments at onnce.

Just want to add another frustrated voice here - it’s impossible to work meaningfully on a GPT when we can’t be sure that the instructions have ‘taken’ due to a persistent ‘updates pending’ message.

+1 here. It’s been going on for months which is really frustrating.

Bumping. Still seeing this error and issue.

Bumping this thread, Ive had to remove access to any co-workers who accessed the GPT I created. It remains on ‘Updates pending’ and ignores new knowledge I provide.

Bump, have the same issue with my CustomGPT
