It’s now easier to qualify for higher OpenAI API rate limits.

Five paid usage tiers become three: Build, Launch, and Grow.

You can qualify for Grow, our new highest tier, with $500 in total API payments—down from $1,000 for the previous highest tier.

If you’re on a paid tier, your organization moves to its new tier automatically. No action needed.

This is amazing, this was a huge blocker for startups launching on large scale, from my own experience, it’s always about squeezing within TPM limits. Great news!
