Unusual Behavior in ChatGPT O1 Model and Account Sanction Suspicion: Is It a Bug or a Sanction?

I am a frequent user of ChatGPT from South Korea, using it at least 10 times a day. Recently, I encountered strange behavior in the ChatGPT O1 model. Normally, the O1 model shows a “thinking” phase before presenting the final answer. However, since yesterday, it has been giving the final answer immediately without showing any thinking phase. This issue only occurs on my Windows PC, while the model works perfectly fine on my iPhone, going through the “thinking” process and giving answers as expected.

This doesn’t seem like a simple UI glitch but more of a functional issue. Additionally, when I request internet searches or image generation from GPT-4o or other models, I receive an error saying, “I cannot perform this task.” However, these features work normally on my iPhone. I began to suspect that my account might have been sanctioned, as the issue is only present on my primary account.

To test this, I tried using a different account under the same environment, and all functions worked normally with that account. This confirmed that the issue is specific to my account.

I’m confused as to whether this is simply a bug or if my account has been subjected to some form of restriction or sanction. Since I have been a frequent user, this is the first time I’ve encountered such an issue, and I would like to understand whether my account has been sanctioned or if it’s a technical error. I’m also curious if other users have experienced similar problems and would appreciate any advice on how to resolve this issue.

Screenshot Explanation:
The “안녕” at the top is the result from using the O1-mini model on Windows, where the answer is given immediately without a thinking process. The “안녕” at the bottom is from using the same model on iOS, where the model goes through the thinking process before providing the answer.
