To unlock Tier 3, is it sufficient to fund your account with $100, or do you need to also use/consume the $100?

So I need to be Tier 3 to have access to o1. If I were to simply fund my account with $100 (assuming I have also waited 7 days from the first payment), would I be upgraded to Tier 3, or do I need to actually consume $100 with the API?

That is the expected behavior of the tier system, yes. Only the payments are considered.

Thanks for the response. Just to be clear, are you saying that only the funding/deposit of $100 in the account is necessary, not the usage of $100?

Correct. You can simply fund the account to advance your tier level, if needed.
