Something is causing the entire library in Sora to appear duplicated, and the trash folder isn’t working properly. This started about an hour ago. I’ve tried using more than one browser.
I already have tried multiple browsers, log off + login, mobile and desktop, all the same.
Same problem, both PC and mobile browser.
I can confirm experiencing the same issue. The bug seems to affect the “My Media” section only, while applying any filter, or choosing “Favorites” bypasses the bug.
Furthermore, trashed media doesn’t show up in the “Trash” section anymore.
Edit: I was mistaken concerning the filters, as it creates the same issue.
Do you think this will be fixed. I have 1000+ generated content. Is someone working on this issue? 
I use my trash as storage, but now it appears empty… I really do hope that Sora has not deleted it permanently. I had some truly great content in there that I did hope to publish - if it’s gone it’ll be tragic…
Hello everyone,
Since exactly 2:14 PM today (local time: Mexico, UTC-6), my Sora library stopped working correctly.
All my previous image generations before that time disappeared from the interface, and now the same set of images keeps repeating in a loop more than 10 times.
Details:
- Start time: 2:14 PM, August 25th, 2025
- Issue: The library won’t load properly. Older generations are inaccessible, and new prompts only show the same set of images over and over again.
- Already tried:
- Chrome (normal and incognito)
- Another browser (Firefox/Edge)
- Cleared cache and cookies
- Signed out and back in
→ The issue persists everywhere.
It looks like an indexing or synchronization bug with the Sora servers.
Could OpenAI please confirm if this is a known issue? Are my older generations safe?
I also noticed other users reporting the same symptoms (“library won’t load, same generations repeating”), so it seems widespread.
Any update from the OpenAI team would be greatly appreciated.

I’m facing a glitch in Sora MyMedia:

Generated videos are showing as multiple duplicate copies.

When I select one file, all the copies get selected automatically.

If I try to scroll, the same media keeps repeating and glitching.

Duplicated images in the My Media section. Trash Folder seems to be empty for some reason.
This has been happening to me as well. Can’t delete trash, duplicate generations, generations that never conclude, library flood with duplicates no matter how far you scroll, and a significant drop in image generation quality (which started a few hours before the library bug and continues).
Pro paying customer. Please address, can’t continue project.
This UI glitch makes using SORA virtually unusable. We sincerely hope this bug is fixed soon.
We’re not paying $200 a month just to be unable to work because of a UI glitch.
Same problem here . As a temporary workaround, you can put all newly generated pictures in a subfolder, where scrolling works normally.

Yes, coming to confirm that this is still an issue. The folders that are effected seem to be the My Media, Favorites, and Trash, which is essentially, the creator’s entire library being attacked.
Same problem. I created a new folder, went to activity tab to open my pictures and transferred some of my favorites into that folder where I can at least view them without any snags now. Hopefully this gets fixed soon, annoying!
Ty, but it’s still a mess. Can’t access existing work and properly navigate is very time consuming. I honestly can’t believe it’s been more than 12 hours with no acknowledgement. Literally cannot do anything.
Maybe they replaced all their developers with GPT-5 prematurely.
