The entire library is duplicated and I can’t scroll down before everything just repeat itself, I can’t delete or trash anything and an image got stuck generating and is forever loading despite the notification telling me it’s “done” so I can’t generate anything else.
I don’t get how so many things can go wrong, literally my first time using it too
Same problem here since today. Scrolling bug and moving pictures to the trash doesn’t work. As a temporary workaround, you can put all newly generated pictures in a subfolder, where scrolling works normally.
Honestly more concerned about the fact I can’t generate anything anymore
Library filled with thousands of duplicate images
Hi OpenAI team,
My Sora Library is filling up with thousands of duplicate images of my last generations, since a couple of days ago. Even after deleting the related chats, the copies remain and new duplicates keep appearing automatically. There is no option to clear or reset the Library, and it has become unusable.
Can we clear the images that have been created in the last couple of days? Preverably by not also clearing the images made before this bug started. There are a lot of images made for work. Loosing them would have huge costs!

yeah mine too, i an artist and trying create my own references so i can draw it. But since last night Sora got crazy. I cant even use it even i am plus member. Its bad something actually because people is paying for reach all things about Sora. If developers cant fix any bugs they should give it free till make fully perfect.

Quality has definitely dropped. Out of every 4x5 generations (so 20 images with the same exact prompt), 2 are consistently high quality, 3 if we’re lucky. The rest are all throwaways because they look like they were made by a 5 year old. This wasn’t the case last week or just 2 days ago.
Well some update, but my issue with generating images solved itself after a few hours
Second update, but everything seems in working order now, just waiting a bit before confirming just to be sure
Everything I delete, says it is trashed but then comes right back.
I have a lot to delete because Sora makes a lot of pool quality images videos before getting one right or I give up (most of the time). So, it is a cluttered mess now.
Yesterday If one clicked “Videos” from the left menu, it only showed images, no videos. A couple of days before that, it would not show videos or images at all.
Every day, a surprise failure!
UPDATE: I got it to delete many of them, they showed up in Trash, but when I went there and clicked Delete (and OK) is “Failed to delete” and put them all back in My Media.
Please let me delete things. This is too much! It’s been 6-7 days since this started!
To add to it, I have been frequently faced with the same issue of a image/video stuck in generation, therefore preventing me from creating something else. I’m also unable to trash it.
Yeah I’ve had a couple of those this week. Currently only 1 active “stuck generation”. I would complain about it more were it not for the fact that we’re drowning in craptastic generations.
It’s happening again. Why does this keep happening?
