Add Text Search and Bookmarking Features for Better ChatGPT Experience

I love using ChatGPT, but I’ve encountered some issues that make long conversations difficult to navigate. Currently, there is a search feature, but it doesn’t work consistently across different environments, and it’s not available in the mobile app. This means I have to scroll up and manually search through messages to find important information, which can be very time-consuming.

What I really need is a way to save and quickly access key messages—a bookmark feature would solve this problem. By having the ability to bookmark important messages, I could skip endless scrolling or relying on a limited search function.

I believe many users would benefit from this, as it would greatly improve the overall experience when revisiting past conversations.

I hope you can consider adding this feature in a future update!

Came here to ask for the same thing. I would love the ability to bookmark a specific section of a response and then be able to easily see my bookmarks and use them to revisit a specific segment. That would be super helpful!

Yes this is what I was going to suggest too. A way to easily reverence certain parts, as in a long chat it’s hard to find what you need easily. Maybe they could do what youtube does and have a timeline with a history, so you can easily find what you need quickly
