Temporary Chat not Available

Hello,

I use ChatGPT’s temporary chat feature often. It helps me quickly ask doubts and queries without having to write complete prompts. However, recently, I’ve been facing a strange issue. The temporary chat option is available, but there is no input field.

At first, I thought this might be happening because I had another temporary chat tab open in the background. I assumed OpenAI might have restricted multiple temporary chats. But even when I opened just one temporary chat, I faced the same issue.

I cleared cookies and logged in again, but the problem persists. I’ve attached an image for reference.

By any chance, has OpenAI blocked me from using temporary chat? Lol.

Hi, I am assuming you are using the 4o model for such purposes. There is some bug with their new deployment it seems. At the moment you can use the below link to use temporary chat until they fix it from their side.

You may follow the status:

i use this link to go to it with no problem.
?temporary-chat=true&model=o3-mini-high&q=test
copy as text so it would work correctly.

I was facing the same issue and today temporary chat button is gone
