the little chatgpt table of contents vanished in most of my chats. Only in my newest chat does it show up. I’ve been relying on that table of contents a bit, does anyone know what happened to it?
Do you mean the conversation history bar or what I call the timeline, that was on the right side of chats? If so, as of today, it no longer shows up by default for me. I now have to scroll to the very top of the chat in order to make the timeline reappear. I made a topic about it in the bugs section here.

the technique works. But that is in no way a true practical solution for me. My chats are extremely big
I am glad it worked, but yeah, same! I do these extremely long interactive fiction-roleplay chats and being able to go back to certain sections has been incredibly helpful for me. Having to scroll all the way back up, is wasting time and now I am struggling to find certain sections.
Even in other massive chats I do, where I am thinking through things or documenting issues…this is a massive problem for me.
I also really need this table of contents feature. It’s really frustrating without it.
