🚨 Suspicious Activity Detected – ChatGPT Plus Limited to GPT-4o Mini

Hi everyone,

Recently, every time I use ChatGPT Plus, I get the following message:

“Suspicious activity detected. It looks like someone else might be using your ChatGPT account. Protect your account to regain access to all features.”

After this message appears, my access to GPT-4o is blocked, and I can only use GPT-4o mini.

Steps I’ve Already Taken:

:white_check_mark: Changed my account password.
:white_check_mark: Logged out of all devices and signed back in.
:white_check_mark: Checked my account activity for unusual logins.

Despite taking these steps, the issue persists. Every time I try to use GPT-4o, I get the same warning, and my access remains restricted.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Is there a known solution? I’d appreciate any advice or similar experiences.

Same issue here. It goes away after sometime for me though. But why is it happening? Is OpenAI finally implementing another ridiculous device limit or Account Sharing Issue like Netflix? Man this is legit sickening and I would switch to DeepShake in a swift if this happens. Concerning that they limit the users also now, not to mention the absolute bonkers of limits placed on almost all of the models.

The problem remains the same, and it surprises me because I only have access on my private devices that I use in the office and my home. I am uncomfortable with this restriction that does not allow me to continue the thread of the conversation.

And I still have no response from OpenAI.

Same problem. The next day it worked, but after a few hours the annoying message reappeared. Why pay for a subscription when the model is capped?

I changed the password and logged out from all sessions. I also removed the site data in my browser before logging in. It went back to normal after a few hours

the problem is because the system detecting too many session at one time

Same issue here and their support not returning my texts. I just cancelled my subscription. These guys are the worst.

Facing the same issue this will be last month subscription with CHATGPT, Its more than 24 hours and still same issue no solution from there side

Same issue here for the past few days. I have contacted support through chat and while they cannot fix it, they have refunded my subscription.

Worth asking for a refund.

I have the same issue.
Enabled 2FA, changed password so many times still doesnt work. I need it for my project, don’t know what to do.
I hope they fix it soon

Same problem here! I contacted support, sent screenshots, but they told me it’s ‘temporary’ and that I need to wait 24-48 hours. However, I don’t think they can solve my problem.

I am facing the same problem. This impedes my research. FUCK GPT!

Facing the same issue. Changed password and it still gives the same error. You can’t tell me to wait a long time before I can use what I paid for. PLEASE FIX IT ASAP.
