Dear OpenAI Team,
Thank you for providing such a powerful AI assistant! However, the current Plus plan ($20/month) may be too expensive for some users, while the free version has too many limitations.
If OpenAI introduces $5 and $10 per month subscription plans, while also addressing the following issues, I believe many more users would be willing to subscribe:
Improve conversation memory for better continuity
Right now, ChatGPT often “forgets” previous parts of a conversation, making responses less coherent. If the Plus plan improves memory and context retention, it would greatly enhance the user experience.
Increase image upload limits to help AI understand user needs
Currently, only Plus users ($20/month) can upload images, while free users have no access to this feature. If a $10 plan allowed 100 image uploads per day, and a $5 plan included a smaller limit, more users would be encouraged to upgrade. This would be especially useful for product design, branding, and content creation.
Why is this a good idea?
More affordable options for casual users, making AI more accessible
Retains a premium tier ($20) for high-demand users while expanding OpenAI’s revenue
Encourages more users to subscribe, balancing affordability and sustainability
Does OpenAI have plans to introduce more flexible pricing options?
This tiered pricing model would allow more people to experience AI without making it too expensive. I hope the OpenAI team will consider this idea!
