Today ChatGPT started using my name from my billing account in the chats and text generation like code and documents. I tried to find a setting to turn it off but couldn’t.
You going to start using my credit card and personal phone number too? Give me an option do disable this as my name is showing up in places where it shouldn’t. Whoever is doing these latest development releases sure isn’t thinking ahead.
Yes, I do use memory in my chats. I did a search of my past chats and found the first reference today of my full name. My first name is fairly common so there were some previous chats that had it but referring to a different person. Then today out of nowhere I started getting my name, including full name in all sorts of places. You can see it in name dropping like it is trying to get to know me! I love your product, I just want it to be better.
