Just realized that Sora means “sky” in Japanese. Hidden meaning? XD AI will show us the skies. This is a nice name and fits pretty well. Was there any meaning behind it? or how did OpenAI end up with the name SORA?

Well, I don’t see a problem with it. They can say it’s OpenAI Sora or AI Sora.
In Japan, there is also a security-as-a-service called “sky” instead of Sora.
